Wherever you eat in the Limousin, food seems to taste better! A restaurant offering traditional french cuisine including 'take away' food can be found in La Croisille sur Briance and there is a huge choice of eating places in every direction.

Our Limousin cottage/gite with pool is a day's drive from the ferryports but Bellegarde Airport , just outside Limoges, is a Ryanair and Flybe destination with direct flights from Bristol, London, Newcastle, Leeds, Liverpool, Nottingham and Southampton. Brive Airport, an hour's drive to the south, also offers direct flights from Manchester and London.
From Scotland there are Cityjet offers flights from Dundee and Edinburgh to Brive Airport. There are also flights to Limoges via London Stansted and Paris from Edinburgh and Glasgow (Ryanair and Easyjet).The train service from Paris(Gare Austerlitz) to Limoges is good and public transport connects the airports to the station.
